Join a premier, multi‑site Med Spa and cosmetic surgery center in Greater Columbus, Ohio area. We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail‑oriented Marketing & Communications Specialist to lead marketing initiatives, content creation, event coordination, and brand communications across all locations.
This is a fully onsite position requiring regular travel between locations in the greater Columbus area to capture content, support events, and ensure consistent brand presence across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate balances big‑picture strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, has a passion for aesthetics and marketing, and is flexible to support occasional evening and weekend events.
Duties & Responsibilities- Implement and maintain the Strategic Marketing Plan for plastic surgery center, medical spa, laser center, Cool Sculpting center, hair restoration, and retail centers
- Ensure strategic plans are forecasted, budgeted, and implemented one quarter in advance for seasonal preparedness
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase visibility and brand awareness
- Identify opportunities through market research on competition, demographics, online directories, and industry events
- Identify target demographics and marketing quotas
- Prepare and submit plans, budgets, progress reports, and sales tracking
- Maintain monthly content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team
- Capture behind-the-scenes content during treatments, events, and staff features across locations
- Source, organize, and maintain photos, videos, and graphics for use across social media, email campaigns, and web content
- Repurpose existing assets into fresh, engaging content aligned with seasonal promotions and treatment highlights
- Develop social media posts using tools such as Canva, Cap Cut, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Write captions, promotional blurbs, and educational posts
- Ensure all content follows HIPAA and brand guidelines
- Stay current on social media trends, platform best practices, and aesthetics/beauty industry updates
- Collaborate with providers and staff to highlight expertise, patient success stories, and treatment results
- Design, produce, and manage social media marketing across Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and You Tube
- Establish and monitor all social media directory listings
- Maintain digital asset library (tagging, filing, version control) for brand consistency and easy access
- Collaborate with vendors to implement and manage web marketing plan in accordance with monthly initiatives
- Manage and provide content to marketing vendors as requested
- Oversee vendor relationships and ensure effective website updates reflect current promotions
- Design, produce, and manage email marketing campaigns
- Manage online reputation and review response program monthly, responding in alignment with tone and service standards
- Oversee all direct media placement including television, radio, print, billboards, and related opportunities (in collaboration with vendors)
- Utilize patient tracking database to monitor patient testimonials, referral programs, and reports
- Coordinate staff treatments aligned with monthly specials to support promotional and content needs
- Support in‑office marketing initiatives including lobby displays, promotional signage, and monthly specials materials
- Print and prepare monthly promotional materials for clinic use
- Support external events including preparation, onsite assistance, follow‑up, and event recaps
- Track and compile event totals, outcomes, and key results
- Provide hands‑on internal event support including developing themes, ordering décor, coordinating logistics, and on‑site execution
- Coordinate activities within departments such as internal events and cross‑promotions
- Manage donation and sponsorship fulfillment, including donation requests, silent auction items, gift bags, gift cards, and certificates
