A pedagogical track faculty member is a full-time, tenure-eligible, faculty member engaged primarily in instructional activities.

We are searching for qualified applicants with expertise in the following specialties:

Medical-Surgical Nursing (Adult and Pediatric)

The School of Nursing and Allied Health offers the following nursing programs:

* Licensed Practical Nurse to Associate of Science in Nursing

* Bachelor of Science in Nursing

* Registered Nurse to Bachelor of Science in Nursing

* Master Entry Professional in Nursing (MEPN)

* Master of Science in Nursing (FNP and PMHNP)

* Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN to DNP-FNP, BSN to DNP-Nurse Executive, and Post-MSN DNP)

Job Requirements:

* A minimum of a Doctoral Degree in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing with a Doctorate in a related field is required.

* Maintain active Kentucky or compact state RN and/or APRN licensure, and meet any additional requirements as required by clinical agencies (which may include but is not limited to: Immunizations, titers, liability insurance, CPR, TB screening, and annual influenza vaccination). The cost of meeting the clinical agency requirements is at the expense of the faculty.

* Evidence of recent clinical specialty experience or current relevant specialty certification.

* Have Nursing experience and experience teaching in the desired courses including Medical-Surgical (Adult and Pediatric), meeting Kentucky Board of Nursing regulations.

* Licensure as a Family Nurse Practitioner (APRN-FNP) or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN-PMNHP) is required for Clinical Professors who seek appointment to the graduate nursing program.

* Maintain professional competence, for example by faculty practice, certification, professional development and/or consulting in field of expertise.
