Position: Restorative Nurse ( RN )
We are looking for a Restorative Nurse (RN) who is passionate about helping residents regain and maintain their highest level of independence. This role focuses on supporting residents’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being through restorative nursing programs designed to maintain mobility, strength, and quality of life.
As the Restorative Nurse, you will play a key role in coordinating restorative care efforts, collaborating with therapy and nursing teams, and ensuring each resident’s care plan supports their highest practicable level of function.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate and oversee restorative nursing programs for assigned residentsWork closely with the Director of Nursing, therapy teams, and nursing staff to support restorative care goalsParticipate in care planning and the MDS/RAI process related to restorative servicesEvaluate residents’ functional abilities and identify opportunities to improve mobility and independenceInitiate therapy referrals and serve as the liaison between therapy services and nursing staffMonitor resident progress and adjust restorative programs as neededEducate residents, families, and staff on restorative care practicesEnsure restorative care policies and procedures are followedWhat We’re Looking For
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standingExperience working with elderly or disabled populations
, preferably in long-term careUnderstanding of restorative nursing programs and care planningStrong leadership and communication skillsCompassion, patience, and a genuine passion for improving residents’ quality of lifeWhat We Offer
