3x12, Evening (3p-3a)

Registered Nurse (RN) – ER Services.

We are an 12‑bed Emergency Department providing direct patient care to critically ill adult patients. Our nursing team follows the nursing process and organizational policies to deliver high‑quality care.

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
• Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (associate’s required; bachelor’s preferred).
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support (BLS) required within one month of hire;
  Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire;
  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of hire.
