Job Overview

Position:
Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN (per diem)

Location:

Bowling Green, KY, Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital (joint venture with Select Medical & Vibra).
Compensation: $46.00 per hour.

Schedule:

PRN / per diem.

• Use independent and interdependent judgment to maintain quality care and assure nursing care plans are followed.
• Collaborate with physicians to implement assessment plans, evaluate outcomes, and follow up on plans of care.
• Initiate ongoing systematic assessment of patients.
• Provide nursing care to meet the needs of hemodialysis patients.
• Interpret assessment data and information.
• Collaborate with providers regarding dialysis treatment plans.
• Perform hemodialysis as prescribed.
• Teach and counsel patients and families.

Minimum requirements:

• Valid temporary or permanent State Registered Nurse License.
• At least one (1) year of hemodialysis experience.
• BLS required; ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Preferred qualifications that will make you successful:

• Hemodialysis experience in the acute care setting or acute care experience.
