NCLEX Instructor - Columbus, OH (On‑Site)

Kaplan North America is looking for experienced nurses to teach the NCLEX exam. The role is a seasonal class‑based teaching position with optional virtual coaching.

• Maintain high energy level and ability to engage students to ensure an excellent student experience.
• Effectively facilitate learning and learner development.
• Learn Kaplan’s methodology and strategies quickly.
• Facilitate active and ongoing classroom management.
• Attend faculty meetings, professional development workshops and ongoing instructional meetings as required.
• Provide individualized guidance as a KLIC Coach via email (separate but related role).

• MSN or BSN with Masters required.
• Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience required.
• Previous teaching/training experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and leadership skills.
• Weekday availability required.

• Competitive hourly teaching rates between $50‑$55/hour.
• Hourly coaching rate $35/hour.
• Paid training and preparation time.
• Pay increases.
• Established curriculum.
• Seasonal position based on nursing school graduation dates and testing cycles.
• Free/discounted Kaplan courses for qualifying employees or their families under the Gift of Knowledge Program.
