Travel Advanced Heart Care / Cardiac Stepdown Registered Nurse | Nights | 13-Week Contract

Join a specialized Advanced Heart Care/Cardiac Stepdown Unit caring for cardiac and stroke patients in a high-acuity environment.

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (3x12 or 4x12)

Contract:

13 Weeks

• Minimum 1 year of Advanced Heart Care/Cardiac Stepdown experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required (No first-time travelers)
• Active Kentucky or Compact RN License (required at submission)
• AHA BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
• Meditech experience preferred

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4-5
• Every other weekend required (negotiable)
• Block scheduling may be considered
• No on-call requirement
• No travel pairs accepted

• Experience in a Certified Stroke Center or Stroke Unit
• BE-FAST stroke assessment competency
• Bedside dysphagia screening
• Familiarity with acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke guidelines

• Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted with the application
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Active Kentucky or Compact RN license
• AHA certifications only
• Copies of certifications required
• No open or pending background/license issues accepted
• Local candidates within 65 miles are not accepted
• Must be able to stay within 30 minutes of the facility during the assignment
