Registered Nurse - IMC​/PCU​/Stepdown

Job Summary:

This role involves providing specialized nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a 13-week travel assignment. The registered nurse will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill and stable patients under medical supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following physician orders.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, including vital signs and responses to treatments.
• Document patient care and updates accurately in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, demonstrating sound clinical judgment.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with active certification.
• Minimum of 2 years appropriate clinical experience, preferably in a PCU or step-down unit.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Competency in using electronic medical records and patient monitoring systems.
