** Quality Engineer

** This is a highly visible role where you’ll
** own quality initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and drive measurable business impact**.
** What You’ll Do**
* ** Own quality performance
** by partnering with operations, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure consistent product excellence
* ** Lead supplier quality
** efforts—driving issue resolution, improving communication, and ensuring materials meet DuPont standards
* ** Investigate and resolve quality incidents**, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence
* ** Support metrology and inspection processes**, ensuring accuracy and reliability in measurement systems
* ** Drive data-based improvements
** through analysis, metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
* ** Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
** and maintain robust quality control processes
* ** Lead or contribute to RCCA investigations
** to mitigate risks across customer, supplier, and internal processes
* ** Ensure compliance
** with ISO 9001, AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP, and other regulatory requirements
* ** Partner on engineering changes**, supporting ECN reviews and product documentation updates
* ** Support audit readiness and execution**, including internal, supplier, customer, and third-party audits
** What You Bring
**** Required Qualifications
*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum
** 3+ years of quality engineering experience
** in a manufacturing environment
* Experience working within
** ISO
9001, TS16949, or AS9100
** quality management systems
* Strong knowledge of:  + Blueprint reading  + Inspection methods and metrology  + GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)  + APQP, PFMEA, and Control Plans
* Proven ability to
** analyze data, solve problems, and drive process improvements
**** Preferred Qualifications
*** Experience with
** AS13100 and NADCAP**
* ** Six Sigma certification (preferred)
*** Exposure to aerospace programs (e.g., Pratt & Whitney, Safran, Collins Aerospace)
* ASQ Quality Engineer certification (or willingness to obtain)
