- Lead quality engineering activities for new, revised, and existing products in a manufacturing environment.
- Develop and maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, inspection plans, process flows, work instructions, and quality documentation.
- Lead root-cause analysis, 8D, CAPA, corrective/preventive actions, and nonconformance investigations.
- Apply SPC, MSA, process capability studies, statistical analysis, and data-driven problem solving to improve quality.
- Support APQP, product/process validation, First Article Inspection, production readiness, and engineering changes.
- Manage customer complaints, containment, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
- Support supplier quality, supplier audits, supplier development, PPAP, and recurring supplier quality issues.
- Drive Lean/Six Sigma, continuous improvement, mistake-proofing, and scrap/rework reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9000/IATF-style quality systems and support internal, external, and customer audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with 6+ years of progressive quality engineering experience; injection molding/plastics manufacturing experience preferred.
