The Home Depot Store Support role focuses on non-sales functions to support the customer experience and store operations. Responsibilities include ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot, and providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. Associates work cooperatively with other associates, vendors, and carriers, often with little or some supervision. They must be detail-oriented, have proven time management skills, and maintain a high level of integrity to support store objectives.
Specific positions may include:
Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.
- Ensure an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience and support store operations.
- Assist customers in the lot or in the store and direct them to departments or merchandise as needed.
- Provide administrative services and support tasks related to program compliance and cash handling as required.
- Interact with customers or vendors when required, and respond to questions about product order status.
- Collaborate with other associates, vendors, and carriers to maintain smooth operations, often with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate integrity, stay focused on store objectives, and perform with attention to detail and time management.
