Job Overview

Retail Display Installer – Technology. Travel up to 90 miles from home (average). Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement. Work Monday–Friday; weekends are not required.

2020 Companies seeks a reliable, detail‑oriented, self‑motivated Field Service Representative to represent leading brands such as Dell, Intel, Dyson, Google, and HP. In this role, you will execute a wide range of in‑store tasks, including installing and updating sales floor fixtures and endcaps, performing buildouts, resets, and display repairs, and following planograms and client‑specific directives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly with consistent communication to field services management within 24 hours of contact.
  • Keep availability updated and accurate.
  • Fully complete all assigned jobs on or before scheduled end dates.
  • Install and build displays, end caps, and fixtures.
  • Complete necessary forms, images, and surveys associated with each job before leaving the site.
  • Maintain and update displays according to planograms and client requests.
  • Conduct break‑fix repairs to ensure displays and fixtures are fully functional.
  • Participate in early‑morning installations and installations involving a team of two or more people and provide solution feedback.
  • Manage virtual software and ensure successful execution of related tasks and timelines.
  • Assist other team members as needed.
  • Adhere to timelines associated with accurate timecard submission, reporting anomalies daily with needed corrections.
  • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Participate and complete training and certification programs.
  • Accurately track, record, and communicate activity via designated systems and workflows.
  • Be available for weekend assignments as needed.
  • Accept and schedule all assigned jobs within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Follow all directives and execute jobs fully and completely.
Qualifications
  • Age / Eligibility: Must be 18 or older; authorized to work in the United States.
  • Availability: Flexible availability Monday through Friday; weekend and holiday availability as needed; early‑morning and late‑night availability as needed; maintain a minimum of 20 hours of fieldwork within a rolling 30‑day period.
  • Physical Abilities: Climb a ladder up to 10 feet; safely lift and carry up to 60 lbs; kneel, walk, crouch, bend over, handle/grasp, and reach overhead.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to the ever‑changing variety of tasks and work environments.
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Effective communication via phone, text, and email; use smartphone for clocking, uploading photos, downloading applications, and connecting to the internet; respond within 24 hours.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or merchandising experience beneficial.
  • Experience: Preferred installation and merchandising experience; proficiency with hand and power tools; ability to follow planograms (POG) directives.
  • Technology: Own an Android or Apple mobile device; navigate various communication platforms and applications independently.
  • Training: Complete all training assignments and tasks within the designated time frame.
  • Transportation & Travel: Reliable transportation; valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; willing to travel up to 90 miles from home per assignment.
  • Leadership & Communication: Superior leadership skills and strong professional communication and presentation skills; sound decision making, good judgment, problem‑solving; autonomous with excellent time management and reporting skills.
