Job Summary

Responsibilities Scope of the RoleUnder direct supervision, the Business Solutions Reconciliation Consultant I operates independently to support the organization’s objectives and mission. The role requires effective communication skills, seamless collaboration with internal and external contacts, adherence to deadlines, strong organizational and time management abilities, and a sense of autonomy when engaging in projects and responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Record and manage group payments received from CM Client in System
I. - Redirect payments with discrepancies in CM Client to the appropriate basket for resolution.
- Examine return checks received from accounting, scanning them into CM Client.
- Enter and manage Backout/Apply and Suspense Form details from CM Client into System
I. - Handle the processing of Government Allotments from OnDemand, incorporating them accurately into System
I. - Input and manage Group Remittance Payments from CM Client into System
I. - Handle incoming calls and emails, and initiate outbound calls and emails to assist group account holders and associates with inquiries about unbalanced payments.
- Assess, structure, and share group payroll documents received from group account holders or associates to reconcile payments.
- Other duties as assigned by leadership.
- Knowledgeable in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High School Degree Required.
- 0-1+ years prior experience working in customer service.
- Good typing and 10‑key skills.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Good phone and presentation skills.
- Effectively interact with users, peers, managers, and vendors.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and provide a detailed‑oriented, analytical, and organized approach to daily duties and relationship building with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Positive professional attitude; ability to work as part of a team or individually.
- Ability to work under pressure and quickly adapt to change.
- Self‑starter with a high level of initiative and problem‑solving mindset.
This is a non‑exempt position.
Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThe duties of this position are performed in a professional office environment. The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. The employee regularly uses hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaches with hands and arms. The employee frequently sits, stands, talks, and hears. The employee can work at the computer or other sedentary tasks for extended periods.
The employee can conduct duties discreetly and impartially. The employee has regular and predictable attendance and punctuality with the ability to work on critical business days as deemed necessary, including some evenings and weekends to ensure all business is processed. Travel is not required for this position.
