Assistant Manager I

Dollar Tree - 1751 Scottsville Road - Responsibilities:
Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities;
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns;
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas;
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed;
Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise and payroll/scheduling/cash deposits;
Maintain store areas and ensure a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom;
Protect and secure store assets including cash;
Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure staff follow procedures;
Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates;
Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
