60% Relationships and Marketing
Provides daily support to P&C Marketer and Producers.

• Communicating with department & Underwriters regarding needed information.

• Sending submissions to companies.

• Following up with companies to make sure they have adequate information.

• Checking quotes against policies for accuracy and coverage.

• Performing online rating function for various insurance companies.

• Assisting in maintaining files, applications, and documents in EPIC.

• Pulls and prepares completed proposal packages and edits as necessary.

• Developing relationships with company representatives to facilitate the quote process.

• Participating in meetings with companies to obtain knowledge of each company.

• Learning all Commercial Lines service standards and procedures.

• Assisting Select department in designated current customer remarkets.

• Developing P&C Marketers and Producers confidence in job knowledge, judgment calls, and awareness of current industry trends and developments.

20% File Management

• Documents all correspondence, follows up for necessary information updates at appropriate times, and keeps the client files organized and up to date.

Teamwork

• Works together with team and with other departments; this includes conferencing with Producer or Account Executive to discuss the execution of strategies. Manages PTO to work with departmental needs. Volunteers to back up and/or assist others as needed. Completes special projects as assigned by Leader.

• Displays commitment and initiative to meet department and agency education goals as set forth in the organization's education program.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certifications

• Must be able to obtain insurance licenses and designations as set forth by the organization's education plans.
