Role Overview

As a B2B Outside Sales Representative for the Genius® team, you will bring innovative payment solutions directly to business owners, driving revenue growth and improving their day‑to‑day operations.

• Drive new business growth by creating opportunities through field outreach, digital engagement, and local networking.
• Own the full sales cycle, turning conversations into revenue and delivering consistent results in your territory.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners, positioning yourself as a go‑to advisor who understands their goals.
• Deliver compelling, value‑driven presentations that show how Genius® improves operations, increases loyalty, and fuels growth.
• Shape your territory strategy using market insights, strengthening your pipeline and accelerating deal momentum.
• Expand Global Payments’ impact by introducing innovative solutions that help businesses operate smarter and grow faster.
• Strengthen long‑term client value by identifying opportunities to expand solutions and deepen relationships.
• Spending up to 75% of your time in the field to create meaningful, face‑to‑face connections that drive results.
• Influence decision‑making and bring the power of Genius® to life for businesses across your market.

• At least one year of success in B2B or B2C outside sales, with a track record of delivering results.
• Strong ability to communicate, present, and negotiate in person and virtually.
• Confidence in building relationships quickly and earning trust with business owners.
• Competitive, self‑driven mindset with energy to achieve and exceed goals.
• Ability to think like a client and connect solutions to real business outcomes.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend up to 75% of time in the field.
• Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected and responsive.
• Preferred two full years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in fintech, merchant services, or SaaS.
• Proven ability to upsell and cross‑sell existing merchants on new features, software add‑ons, and hardware upgrades (bonus).
• Experience working with the restaurant or retail industries is a plus.
