We are seeking a driven and consultative Interventional Business Manager (iBM) to help accelerate the adoption of innovative ophthalmic technologies that improve patient outcomes and transform eye care delivery.

In this role, you will partner closely with ophthalmic surgeons, practice administrators, and clinical staff to drive business growth, support practice integration, and expand access to advanced treatment solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong sales execution with the ability to educate, influence, and build trusted customer relationships.

What You'll Do

Drive Territory Growth & Sales Performance

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives across multiple product portfolios.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory business plans to drive market share growth.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Analyze territory performance and implement strategies to maximize results.

Build Strong Customer Partnerships

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to ophthalmic surgeons, clinical teams, and practice stakeholders.
  • Develop long-term partnerships that drive adoption and utilization of innovative therapies.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities to improve patient access and practice performance.

Deliver Product & Clinical Education

  • Provide product, clinical, and business education to healthcare professionals.
  • Support customer onboarding, training, and implementation efforts to ensure successful integration of therapies and technologies.
  • Translate complex clinical information into clear, actionable insights for customers.

Lead Market Development Initiatives

  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, professional meetings, and educational programs.
  • Coordinate peer-to-peer events, training programs, and local educational initiatives.
  • Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer needs to inform business strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sales experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of surgical ophthalmology sales experience.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales goals and driving territory growth.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience introducing and launching new products or technologies in the market.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and consultative selling abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms;
    Salesforce experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Ophthalmic pharmaceutical experience.
  • Experience working with complex healthcare stakeholders and practice management teams.
  • Ophthalmology sales experience with strong buy-and-bill exposure
  • DURYSTA experience is highly desirable
  • Retina/glaucoma representatives with a heavy buy-and-bill background
  • These candidates are expected to have the most directly transferable experience and should be prioritized
