OPC Pest Services – Utility Technician

• Perform a variety of tasks involving installation and rodent exclusion projects
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
• Handyman and general repair, insulation, encapsulation, and gutter installation
• Maintain projected budgets and complete paperwork at the end of each job
• Perform termite bait installation and insulation replacement projects

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have at least 1 year of general carpentry experience
• Valid driver’s license maintained throughout employment

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass a criminal history background check, physical exam, and drug screen.

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity
• Constant walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, twisting, climbing on ladders and roofs, reaching overhead, and squeezing with both hands
• Install encapsulation in low‑light conditions
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
• Work in all types of weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow, and ice
• Noise level in work environment is generally loud (e.g., new construction, vacuuming insulation)
