Field Service Technician

Location

This position is remote in the Cleveland, OH area and will cover greater Cleveland customers and south to Akron.

• Engage in a comprehensive ~3 month field and classroom training program to acquire necessary skills.
• Travel to customer sites to install, repair, troubleshoot, service and calibrate high‑tech measuring instruments (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
• Work hands‑on to learn new skills on high‑tech CMMs utilizing mechanical and electronic aptitude.
• Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
• Work independently while representing the company in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

• Minimum:
  High school graduate, GED, technical school, associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as electronics or industrial mechanics.
• Prior experience with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Microsoft OS knowledge required.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Minimum 50 hours per week, including overtime.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work on an industrial production shop floor.

• Experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.
• Experience with CMM installation and troubleshooting.
