We’re looking for an experienced Controls Technician with a strong electrical background to support automated production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern automation systems while helping improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled production equipment
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on automated equipment
• Work with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, photo eyes, and three-phase motors
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance or controls experience
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Experience with VFDs, three-phase motors, and industrial automation
• Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Technical degree or equivalent industrial experience preferred
