Part Time Youth Support Partner

• Function as a contributing member of a case management team.
• Engage youth who are historically challenging to engage and develop rapport, help them establish buy-in to their case plan.
• Provide mentoring and modeling for youth assigned to your caseload.
• Provide crisis management and intervention as needed.
• Empower the youth in your caseload to find their voice and learn appropriate self-advocacy.

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field highly preferred.
• High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field may be considered based on job related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with adolescents in a supportive, therapeutic, or behavioral intervention role.
• Lived or personal experience with DCBS, Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and/or healthcare required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the department you are in.
• All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.

Demonstrates expertise in case management and crisis intervention while effectively engaging and mentoring adolescents. Proficient in empowering youth through self-advocacy and building rapport to support their therapeutic needs.
