Java Software Engineer

We are seeking a Contract Java Developer to support a focused client project at an industrial consulting firm. In this role, you will work closely with our development team to build, enhance, and maintain applications using Java and Spring Boot. This is a hands‑on development position for someone who enjoys delivering high‑quality solutions, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving work forward efficiently.

This is a short‑term, impact‑driven engagement with clear objectives, meaningful ownership, and the opportunity to contribute immediately.

• Design, develop, and enhance applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Write clean, maintainable, and reliable code following established best practices
• Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in Agile development processes, including planning, development, testing, and deployment activities
• Troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and contribute to ongoing application improvements
• Work independently while maintaining clear communication and alignment with the project team

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience building and supporting web‑based applications and APIs
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results with minimal oversight
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
