Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Bowling Green, KY. This position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career that provides a sense of pride and responsibility.

• Pay: $1,230 or more per week
• Solo miles pay: $0.48 per mile (up to 2,500 miles per week)
• Solo stops pay: $12.00 per stop (up to 5 stops per week)
• Drop & hook pay: $6.00 per drop/hook
• Shutdown bonus: $2,000 in the first year
• Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days
• Safety bonus: $250 per quarter if applicable
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday
• Shift start:
  Flexibility with AM and PM shifts; PM shifts for first two years (11 hours daily drive time)
• Medical, dental & vision after 30 days
• 80 hours paid time off starting Day 1 (use it or get paid for it)

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading when required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Strong backing skills required
• Company pays scale bypass

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL with required endorsements.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and Ryder road test.
• Verifiable Class A tractor‑trailer experience:
• 9 months within the past three years, or
• 2 years within the last five years, or
• 5 years within the last ten years.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
