Class A CDL Truck Driver

Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Bowling Green, KY offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Pay: $1,230 or more per week
• Solo miles: $0.48 per mile (approximately 2,500 miles per week)
• Solo stops: $12 per stop (about 5 stops per week)
• Drop & Hook: $6 per drop/hook
• Shutdown Bonus: $2,000 in first year
• Sign On Bonus: $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days
• Safety Bonus: $250 per quarter if applicable
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday or Tuesday‑Saturday with flexible AM/PM shifts; PM shift for first 2 years with 11‑hour daily drive time
• Medical, Dental & Vision coverage after 30 days

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Detect, eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs
• Load and unload freight or assist in such duties as required by the customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: 9 months within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures

Some positions may require additional screening, including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
