CDL-A Driver; Regional - Middlesboro, KY

Position Summary

Professional truck driver assigned late model Freightliner tractors with 53’ reefer trailers, delivering freight to Smithfield plants, company distribution centers, and customer distribution centers. Key to success is safe driving, excellent customer service, and effective decision making.

• Transport and deliver freight over long distances in a safe, efficient, timely, and legal manner.
• Complete all required paperwork and maintain records under state and federal regulations.
• Ensure all operations are in compliance with state and federal law.
• Represent Smithfield and the trucking industry in a professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 21 years of age.
• Minimum 1‑year CDL Class A experience with tractor‑trailer or reefer.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Works well with others in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Respectful, approachable, and team‑oriented, building positive working relationships.
• Relocation package available.

• Competitive pay: up to $100,000+ annually.
• Paid detention rate.
• Work schedules: 6 and 1; 6 and 2; 5 and 2 (Tues‑Sat), (Sun‑Thu), (Sat‑Wed); anticipated 2 days off per week (48 hours).
• Minimum 2,500+ miles per week.
• No touch freight and no backhauling through outside customers.
