This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.

Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring all products are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Foods' policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Turret fork truck to place and retrieve palletized products within the warehouse storage system, including locations up to 33 feet high.
• Locate inventory by bay locations and retrieve palletized products to fulfill customer orders.
• Utilize hand scanners and computer systems to accurately track inventory movement.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper product tracking and documentation.
• Conduct random inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Lift and palletize boxes weighing up to 110 pounds according to customer order requirements.
• Complete required reports, inventory records, and related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and others involved in warehouse operations.
• Team members will use basic math skills to track inventory and maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Team members will work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and warehouse operational standards.
• Must be willing and able to become forklift certified.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Prior Turret high-lift forklift experience preferred
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must not have a written warning or a suspension in the last 1 year.
• Must be in current role for 6 months (180 days) unless position a promotion.
• Must have 4 attendance points or less.

The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

• Must be willing and able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 110 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work in a warehouse environment and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be willing and able to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and climb as required to perform job duties.
• Must be willing and able to safely operate warehouse equipment and work in elevated storage areas.
