Warehouse Associate, Bailey Road - Flex at Macy's

Full‑time (30+ hrs per week) warehouse Associate responsible for receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise for Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s online customers.

As a Warehouse Colleague you will be a critical part of our Supply Chain team, driving success across the organization using a Four Pillars strategy focused on customer experience, teamwork, financial acumen, and community integration. Full‑time colleagues are scheduled 30 or more hours per week, while part‑time colleagues are scheduled 12–24 hours per week.

• Receive, prepare, put away, pick, sort, pack, and ship merchandise safely and accurately.
• Key inventory data accurately using PCs, handheld computers, radio frequency equipment, and other proprietary systems.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and People Leaders.
• Read and comply with employment policies, safety rules, and procedures in English.
• Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.

• No formal education or experience required.
• Can understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
• Can read, understand, and interpret employment policies and safety instructions in English.
• Self‑starter who adapts quickly to changing expectations and needs.
• Proficient with computers and handheld technology.
• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with dependable attendance and punctuality.

• Prolonged walking and standing for the duration of the scheduled shift (excluding breaks).
• Frequent use of computers and handheld electronic equipment.
• Reaching, including above eye level, crouching, kneeling, stooping, and color vision.
• Lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Ability to hear and see safety/emergency alarms and industrial truck warning devices to ensure safety while on warehouse floor.

Random drug testing will be conducted on a monthly or semi‑monthly basis. Colleagues will be randomly selected for testing by a third party and must complete testing within 24 hours of notification.
