The Mailroom Associate is responsible for providing managed printing and mail room services for internal Xerox facilities. This role blends hands‑on document production and finishing work with basic client support and workflow coordination.
Primary Responsibilities- Perform mailroom tasks: sorting, delivery, metering, and packaging of incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, including USPS, courier and overnight shipments.
- Operate postage meters and shipping system.
- Maintain accurate records for mail and package deliveries.
- Ensure confidential and sensitive materials are handled securely.
- Operate and maintain printers, copiers, and finishing equipment.
- Process print requests within service level agreements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate any service calls when needed.
- Communicate clearly with internal clients regarding job specifications and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Follow company policies, postal regulations, and safety procedures.
- Assist with monthly billing using Excel.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to operate and maintain various print and mail equipment.
- Clear communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
- Bilingual (English/French or other languages) preferred for some locations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a print, mail, or customer service role.
- Post‑secondary training in technology, office administration, or print production is a plus.
