Senior Project Manager
Mission Critical Construction | Data Centers
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager on behalf of one of our clients. This individual will play a critical leadership role overseeing large-scale mission‑critical construction projects while ensuring exceptional project execution, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
Senior Project Manager:
The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary leader responsible for the successful execution of multiple construction projects from initiation through closeout.
- Exempt, Salaried Position (Compensation based on experience)
- Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM - Additional evening/weekend work as project demands require
- Location:
Onsite daily in Bowling Green, Ohio - Travel:
Up to 15%
- Champion a culture of safety across all project activities.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety programs and client site requirements.
- Promote proactive safety planning and accident prevention.
- Lead and mentor assigned Project Management team members.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
- Develop project execution strategies and oversee implementation.
- Identify project risks and implement corrective action plans.
- Lead by example while fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Oversee installation strategies utilizing industry best practices.
- Monitor project milestones, schedules, and overall performance.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Review project progress and implement recovery plans when necessary.
- Maintain accountability for project profitability.
- Monitor budgets, forecasting, labor, equipment, and material costs.
- Prepare and present financial reports and project performance metrics.
- Identify and manage change orders and cost impacts.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide regular project updates and executive‑level reporting.
- Support estimating efforts, constructability reviews, and value engineering initiatives.
- Maintain a customer‑first approach throughout project delivery.
- Support Lean Construction initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Utilize construction technology platforms to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures and best practices.
- Encourage innovation and process improvements across project teams.
- Mentor project staff and future leaders.
- Support employee training and professional development.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive construction management experience.
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale structured cabling, technology infrastructure, or mission‑critical construction projects.
- Experience leading multi‑million‑dollar commercial construction projects.
- Strong financial management and project forecasting experience.
- Experience managing project schedules and construction teams of 60+ field personnel.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and multiple project delivery methods including:
- Lump Sum / Fixed Price
- Cost Plus
- Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP)
- Unit Price
- Design‑Build
- Time & Material
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Primavera P6
- Project scheduling
- Cost forecasting
- Schedule Performance Index (SPI)
- Cost Performance Index (CPI)
- PMBOK principles
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Bluebeam
- Procore
- Textura
- Construction management software platforms
- Experience supporting:
