Elementary II Teacher

Come join us in lovely Bowling Green, Ohio! The Montessori School of Bowling Green is currently looking for an Upper Elementary teacher to join our community. We are looking for someone who:

• Loves students in this age range - 9 to 12 - and has a clear understanding of their developmental abilities, challenges and needs
• Considers the needs of the whole child - we really mean this, recognizing that academic progress is hinderedwhen emotional, social, and physical needs are not met
• Is a team player. This is a multi-teacher classroom, so coordination is key
• Is a true lover of learning - kids can see through any hypocrisy, so we have to practice wat we preach, and that includes consistentlyseeking ways to grow as human beings ourselves.

The ideal candidate has a bachelors degre and holds a MACTE-accredited Elementary II or Elementary I/II credential or is willing to pursue training within one year of employment (financial assistance is available).
