Launch Demand Planner
Dauch is seeking a Launch Demand Planner to join our world‑class team. This is an outstanding opportunity to be part of a leading company in the automotive industry, where you will have the chance to contribute to the flawless execution of our manufacturing processes. This role is located at our Bowling Green plant in Bowling Green, OH.
As a Launch Demand Planner, you will lead supply chain projects that develop and continuously improve the planning and information flow processes, efficiently utilize available capacities and resources in a safe environment, and meet customer demand. You will also ensure compliance with policies, standards, and governance through communication and training (“train the trainer”) of the supply chain team.
Job Description- Planning of all supply chain process steps from supplier to customer for New Programs.
- Responsible for gate reviews in accordance with the New Program Launch process.
- Coordination of all PC-L activities between program organizations and plants.
- Planning and implementation of transport organization for new programs between supplier, plant and customer.
- Planning and calculating the implementation of material and information flows.
- Create, maintain and govern the execution of Project Plans.
- Monitor and control trial parts and PPAP parts.
- Master Production Planning, Capacity Planning, SIOP, Material Requirement Planning/Vendor Scheduling, Shop floor inventory control, Distribution Requirement Planning, Inventory Management, Product Life cycle Management.
- Maintain, manage and communicate KPIs and project governance.
- Apply PDCA approach, use A3 appropriately in case of deviation to plan to ensure successful project delivery and sustainability.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3+ years experience in Supply Chain Forecasting & Demand Planning.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (QAD/SAP/Oracle).
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certified or equivalent.
