A day in this role

You start by reviewing MRP signals and supplier confirmations, triaging any potential raw‑material gaps that could impact production. You fine‑tune planning parameters, issue purchase releases, and align with internal partners on priorities. As deliveries land, you reconcile receipts to plan, monitor inventory health, and surface data‑driven insights that keep operations running smoothly and protect the business from shortages.

What you'll own
  • Supply planning & supplier stewardship:
    Execute planning activities within established systems; track supplier performance, probe delivery risks, and recommend timely corrective actions to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
  • Operations & inventory control:
    Run daily standard work, adjusting settings to hit service and inventory targets. Perform inventory control tasks that support accuracy and consistent material flow.
  • Data & reporting:
    Collect information from standard sources, build clear, accurate reports, and support performance tracking and decision‑making.
  • Internal collaboration:
    Respond to routine stakeholder requests and coordinate supply chain activities across teams as needed.
  • Continuous improvement:
    Offer ideas to streamline processes and participate in reviews to identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or CPIM certification; other inventory management training preferred.
  • 7–12 months of experience in operations, inventory, supply chain, or related processes.
  • Comfort working within standard procedures and enterprise systems.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills (data analysis/reporting exposure preferred).
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with sharp attention to detail.
  • Team‑oriented, adaptable, and effective at managing priorities.
