Job Description & How to Apply Below
Perform MIG welding on frames, beams, conveyor tracks, and various machine parts using mild steel and stainless steel ranging from 1/16 inch to 1/2 inch thick, including sheet metal from 14 gauge up to 1/2 inch.;
Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to determine weld locations, dimensions, and specifications.;
Measure and mark materials accurately using a tape measure, and cut parts to size using saws and other cutting tools.;
Carry out fabrication work, including fitting, tacking, and assembling components prior to final welding.;
Conduct leak testing and visual inspection of welds and weld beads to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
