Role Overview
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Furnace Operator is responsible for all furnace checks, gas checks, logged recordings; loading and unloading furnaces per recipe and alarm; and providing additional support to part setting as necessary.
Shift: 12‑hour rotating shift, weekends. 5 pm to 5 am. Pattern: two days on, two days off, three days on, three days off, repeat.
Key Responsibilities- Perform furnace checks and gas checks.
- Record and maintain logs.
- Load and unload furnaces according to recipes.
- Respond to alarms.
- Provide support to part setting as required.
- High School education or equivalent.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs intermittently.
- Ability to stand for 12 hours and work every other weekend.
- Respect for and adherence to safety guidelines.
Minimum starting pay is $22.00+/hr for no production experience and higher for candidates with production experience, plus a $1.25/hr shift premium.
