Falcon Outfitters Shipping & Receiving Assistant - Postal Services

Perform support functions necessary for efficient operation of the shipping and receiving department and package center at Falcon Outfitters.

• Assist in performing various duties related to receiving, shipping and delivering packages.
• Utilize software, packing lists, and miscellaneous documents to ship, receive and deliver packages.
• Follow standard procedures to ensure scanning integrity and quality control of merchandise for resale.
• Help with on-line order processing and shipping.
• Operate point of sale terminals for cash and charge sales transactions.
• Assist with special events such as passing out commencement tickets.
• Provide customer service and deliver student packages at the package center.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the core values, mission and goals of BGSU.

• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Must be extremely reliable, responsible and dependable.
• Must have a positive and enthusiastic attitude to maintain positive employee relations and offer outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, with a minimum availability of 12 hours per week.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Able to lift 70+ pounds.
• Must be able to work over breaks.
• Supply Chain Management major/minor preferred, but not required. Position can be used as an internship for Supply Chain Management.

• Hours are within 9am-5pm, Monday thru Friday. Applicant must have 20 hours availability during that time frame.
• Application must include fall schedule along with any other school obligations.
