Summary of Position:

We’re seeking an inspired, value-aligned sales professional to serve as a Sales Development Representative. Your primary focus will be to research and qualify new target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and execute outbound prospecting using the latest prospecting tools, data insights, and AI, while accurately capturing all activity data in our CRM. New accounts will require nurturing through the sampling phase and will be handed off to an AE or sales leadership to close.

The SDR role is a highly competitive, high‑activity sales position responsible for building new relationships and fueling revenue growth for Smart Solve.

  • Research target accounts using existing tools and other resources to find key contacts and titles within each account
  • Conduct high‑volume outbound prospecting activities, including cold‑calling, email outreach, and social media engagement, to generate new leads and opportunities
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities and manage prospecting activities and follow‑up tasks
  • Set qualified meetings for the Account Executive or Sr. Director of Sales; conduct early discovery and qualification, handle objections
  • Achieve weekly and monthly prospecting benchmarks as assigned by Business Development Manager
  • All other responsibilities or projects assigned by Business Development Manager

How success will be measured in this role:

  • Weekly and monthly benchmark requirements
  • Maintaining CRM hygiene
  • Generation of pipeline opportunities through prospecting activities

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Understanding of sales performance metrics and results driven
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to organize and schedule one's work and the self‑motivation to diligently perform it with little supervision
  • Good computer skills, including knowledge of Excel, Word, and familiarity with CRM software

Training and

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field

experience in a sales role is preferable but not required

Physical Requirements:

  • Reaching for phone and keyboard
  • Talking, hearing and repetitive motion
  • Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally
  • Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures
