Job Profile

As a Relationship Manager I – Business Banker within PNC's Business Banking organization, you will be based in the Toledo market. PNC Business Bankers provide cash flow solutions to businesses with annual sales from $1 million to $5 million. As a trusted advisor in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, you will leverage your business acumen to facilitate cash flow conversations with clients and prospects, manage the ongoing sales cycle to optimize the cash flow of our business customers so they can achieve their goals, and develop and cultivate Center of Influence (COI) relationships to meet and exceed sales goals and business objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Handle relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals.
  • Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of credit and non‑credit products and services.
  • Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identify and mitigate risks such as regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
  • Focus on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client's needs and financial well‑being, increasing engagement and loyalty.
  • Build an effective network of internal and external relationships, such as community and industry relationships, to acquire new clients and expand existing clients and enhance the client experience.
  • Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze, evaluate and mitigate credit risk by utilizing knowledge of credit fundamentals and internal credit policies.

Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
  • Work Experience:

    3+ years of relevant direct industry experience.

    Book of Business, Client Relationship Building, Credit, Credit Products, Customer Engagement, Decision Making, Financial Analysis, Identifying Sales Opportunities.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $98,000.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with compensation based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
