Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for

Security Front Lobby Officer

$18.50 Per Hour

1st Shift

Full Time - Monday thru Thursday 7:00AM to 5:00PM

We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, responsible person with a desire to work in a professional, customer service driven industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in front desk and lobby setting with a valid security guard card. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields, have active Texas State training and guard card licensing.

What You'll Do

  • Front Desk — Customer service, access control, CCTV monitoring, package distribution, visitor announcements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real-time.
  • Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
  • Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
  • Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalism.
  • Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
  • Provide security support for various client projects and events.
  • Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property.

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Non‑commissioned security license through the state of Ohio.
  • Familiarity with report writing.
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Previous security experience is required.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required.
  • Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
