Maintenance Technician

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for ongoing maintenance of industrial heat treating furnaces, vacuum washers, conveyor systems, blasting equipment, robotics, and general building maintenance. The focus is on enhancing equipment performance and ensuring a safety‑first environment.

• Approach all tasks with a safety‑first mindset, protecting the well‑being of yourself and your team.
• Optimize equipment and machinery performance through preventive maintenance processes, with a fair level of autonomy.
• Partner with the production team to address and quickly respond to equipment failures and resolve problems.
• Provide support to field engineering services for installation and maintenance at customer sites.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through implementation of best practices.
• Troubleshoot and maintain machines.
• Perform metal fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting tasks.

• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• 1–3 years experience in installation and programming of temperature controls.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, repetitive motion, bending, and standing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Solid mechanical and electrical working knowledge.
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience with machinery in a production environment.
• Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including criminal record and a 12‑panel drug screen.

Hours:

5:00 am to 1:30 pm with flexibility. Shift differential of $1.25 /hr for hours between 5 pm and 5 am. Occasional overtime and travel to customer sites may be required. A valid driver’s license is required.

Starting rate: $32+/hr, with higher rates based on experience.
