Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an Electrical Technician to work in the Bowling Green, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, paid time off, and paid holidays.

Position Summary

The Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and controls in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience reading electrical schematics, and a commitment to workplace safety and quality.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical equipment and machinery.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical components, wiring, and control systems.
  • Support production operations by responding to equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Utilize electrical testing equipment to identify and resolve problems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and production teams.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical degree, vocational training, or equivalent electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of electrical controls, motors, sensors, relays, and PLC systems preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
