Fleet Scheduler

Overview

JEHM Enterprises is seeking a punctual and organized individual to join our team. As a Fleet Scheduler, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls from customers with roll-off dumpster requests, creating daily schedules for the drivers and managing driver efficiency and safety compliance.

• Coordinate the transportation of roll-off dumpsters
• Schedule and assign drivers for daily routes
• Track and monitor the progress of drivers
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Handle any issues or delays in delivery promptly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, routes, and delivery status
• Utilize dispatch software and other online tools to optimize delivery routes and maximize efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies
• Will cross-train on necessary skills of Scale Operator position for personnel coverage. (Quick Books experience is a plus)

• High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred
• Proven experience in dispatching, logistics, or transportation operations
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in using online scheduling program and other relevant software
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety guidelines
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random testing

• Full-time, Monday - Friday 8AM - 4PM
• Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

• Customer Service: 3 years
