Lead Customer Logistics Coordinator

The Lead Customer Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the customer service function within a warehouse and distribution environment. This role serves as a working supervisor, providing day-to-day guidance, training, and support to Customer Service Representatives while coordinating closely with warehouse, transportation, and customer teams to ensure efficient operations and high levels of service.

Working under the direction of the Office Manager and General Manager, the Lead Customer Logistics Coordinator, or Lead CSR, helps drive operational performance, monitors workflow, supports process improvements, and ensures compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a safe, compliant, and customer-focused work environment.
• Serve as a primary escalation point for customer service and shipment-related issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel, transportation providers, and customers to facilitate on-time and complete deliveries.
• Support employee training, development, and adherence to established procedures and expectations.
• Prepare and distribute operational reports and performance metrics for management review.
• Ensure compliance with documented Quality Management System (QMS) processes and customer-specific requirements.
• Oversee shipment scheduling, inventory releases, and transportation coordination utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Review shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, and ensure accuracy of customer orders
• Assist with process improvements designed to increase productivity, efficiency, and service performance.

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or customer service operations.
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Extended periods of sitting and computer use.
• Occasional lifting of office materials and storage boxes.
• Occasional bending, kneeling, crouching, or climbing as needed.
• Warehouse and distribution center environment.
• Frequent interaction with office personnel, warehouse associates, transportation providers, and customers.
• Indoor work setting with regular exposure to operational warehouse activity.
