Join us and become part of our dedicated team today.## Qualifications The Tournament Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Tournament Director with planning, coordinating and executing successful tournaments and competitions. This role involves working/managing various event management systems.  

Planning and Organizing:  
* Assisting with developing comprehensive plans for tournaments, establishing benchmarks and having a flexible schedule to accomplish goals year-round.
* Strategically coordinating with local and regional athletic stakeholders, knowledge of tournament format, rules and regulations.
* Community outreach and coordination to assist with increasing the total number of registrations for each sporting event.

Logistics Management:  
* Assist with the setup and breakdown of tournament facilities.
* Coordinate with vendors to accommodate their needs.
* Ensure all waivers, score sheets and W-9s are safely filed in our records.

Problem Resolution:  
* Ability to deescalate issues or disputes that may arise during tournament.
* Provide constructive feedback to improve tournament processes.
* Provide tournament assistance to participants and parents.

Qualifications and Skills:

* Previous sports experience required, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of sports rules and regulations.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage unexpected challenges.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
