Implement and enforce federal construction standards and OSHA requirements, leading site safety programs and ensuring compliance with project-specific safety plans.

Develop, maintain, and control detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, including baseline creation, subcontractor schedule integration, three-week lookahead planning, and schedule updates for multi-phase projects.

Coordinate all subcontractors on site, ensuring clear communication of expectations, sequencing of work, and resolution of field issues to keep the project on track.

Coordinate utilities and site improvements, including utility tie-ins, site amendments, and grading activities, in alignment with project design and regulatory requirements.

Validate cost progress and support cost tracking by reviewing work in place, quantities, and production rates against schedule and budget expectations.

Lead project closeout activities, including punch list completion, documentation and warranty turnover, and support for owner training and handover processes.

Ensure airfield paving activities are planned, executed, and inspected in accordance with federal and project-specific standards where applicable.

Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including owners, design teams, and subcontractors, providing regular updates on safety, schedule, quality, and progress.

Support long-term project planning and potential transition to follow-up federal projects in other locations upon successful completion of current work.

Essential Skills

Minimum of one $30M-$40M ground-up federal construction project completed as a Lead Superintendent, with multiple similar projects strongly preferred.

Experience on at least a couple of projects with the Army Corps of Engineers.
