CCS Construction Staffing is seeking an experienced Safety Technician with an active EM-385 certification for a military project in Box Elder, SD. This role requires a safety professional who can effectively enforce protocols, ensure compliance, and communicate safety standards clearly on an active commercial/industrial jobsite.
This is a full-time assignment, 50 hours per week. Applicants must be able to maintain compliance with all site safety requirements.

Position Details- Full-time, 50 hours per week
- Commercial/industrial construction environment
- Active jobsite requiring strict safety compliance
- Team-based environment
- Enforce all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures
- Ensure all personnel are compliant with EM-385 standards
- Conduct routine hazard inspections and identify potential risks
- Lead toolbox talks in clear, easy-to-understand language
- Maintain accurate documentation of safety meetings, inspections, and incidents
- Assist with incident reporting and corrective actions
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on-site
- Active EM-385 Certification (Required)
- Previous construction safety experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices and hazard recognition
Ability to communicate effectively with crews and management - Ability to commit to 50 hours per week
- Reliable transportation
- Remain drug-free on the jobsite
