Financial Solutions Advisor - Participant Services; Series

Overview

Merrill Participant Services Financial Solutions Advisors (FSAs) engage participants in goals‑based conversations to provide education and guidance during key life transitions such as career changes, starting out in the workforce, building a family, or preparing for retirement. Operating in a contact center environment, FSAs leverage the Bank of America and Merrill offering model and collaborate with business partners to deliver service and education to active and separated Merrill 401(k) and Equity Plan participants.

• Strengthen participant relationships by anticipating needs, exceeding service expectations, and following through on commitments.
• Demonstrate knowledge of investments and financial markets; apply key principles appropriately to individual participant needs.
• Consistently identify participant opportunities and engage key partners as needed.
• Triage client leads, make referrals to business partners based on client needs and asset thresholds, and recommend suitable brokerage products.
• Meet with clients to review financial and investment goals, build financial plans that include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, and banking and money‑managed solutions.
• Recommend banking and investment strategies that align with client financial goals and needs.
• Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
• Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or financial center clientele.
• Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on knowledge of client needs and potential product services recommended.

• Series7 and 66 licenses, or equivalent. If Series 66 is not currently held, it must be obtained within 90 days.
• Passion for excellence and willingness to work to exceed client expectations.
• Strong computer skills with the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

1st Shift (United States of America), 40 hours per week.

$65,000.00 – $85,000.00 annualized salary, plus participation in a formulaic incentive plan.
