The Money Movement Operations Specialist is responsible for the review and approval process of retirement and retail distribution requests for Consumer Investments. Document control reviews are completed for both verbal and written transaction requests. Types of distribution and disbursement requests include, but are not limited to wires, journal entries, checks, register and ship, broker transfers, and BOFA to Merrill.

This role requires subject matter expertise to perform reviews within established processing deadlines, proactively engage clients to ensure their needs are met, and provide superior service through expert knowledge and judgment.

Assists management with process improvements and strategic initiatives designed to enhance client experience. Willingness and ability to cross-train and provide support across the division as business needs require, ensuring operational continuity, enhancing team collaboration, and delivering seamless client experience.

• Review and approve retail and retirement transactions
• Anticipate and mitigate financial risk, fraud and AML violations based on the nature and characteristics of each transaction
• Monitor and address risk associated with all transactions by reviewing account activity and history messages in each transaction
• Monitor and process requests coming through the various email boxes
• Review phone calls and perform manager callouts on high-risk withdrawals and disbursements prior to approval.
• Review and process both verbal and written transaction requests.
• Ensure adherence to approval procedures, demonstrating strong attention to detail and the ability to appropriately identify and elevate issues.
• Conduct ongoing reviews of policies and procedures to ensure all functions are properly documented and compliant.
• Minimum Performance Management Rating of Meets/Meets.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to de-escalate and properly handle elevated problem resolution requests
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal business partners
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and sound business judgment
• Willingness and ability to cross-train and provide support across the division as business needs require, ensuring operational continuity, enhancing team collaboration, and delivering a seamless client experience.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new processes and quickly adapt to changing business priorities.

• At least 1 year of experience in Investment Money Movement
• Customer service experience
• Operations processing experience
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• College degree preferred
• Knowledge of Interact / CEW / Lexis Nexis / NICE / CMC / SRP / NSG

This role is compensated with a base salary and is not incentive eligible.
