Americas Mailbox is seeking an experienced, motivated, and hands-on Mailroom Manager to lead one of the most important departments in our company.

As our Mailroom Manager, you'll oversee the daily operations of a busy mailroom, ensuring mail sorting, processing, packaging, shipping, and distribution are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and leads by example.
What You'll Do:
As the Mailroom Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly while creating a positive, productive work environment for your team.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the mailroom team to achieve daily production goals.
- Oversee all mail sorting, processing, packaging, shipping, and distribution operations.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and quality control.
- Train, mentor, and develop new and existing employees.
- Monitor department productivity and identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Vehicle Registration, Scanning, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and special mail requests with professionalism.
- Maintain inventory levels and oversee mailroom equipment and maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist with mailroom-related errands, including trips to the United States Post Office, UPS, Fed Ex, and other business-related locations.
- Report workflow concerns, staffing needs, and operational recommendations to management.
- Assist with department projects and support daily operations wherever needed.

Qualifications
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred (1–3 years or more).
- Experience in mailroom operations, logistics, warehouse operations, fulfillment, shipping, distribution, or similar operational environments.
- Strong leadership, communication, delegation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Experience using inventory management or shipping/tracking software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active throughout the workday.
Schedule:
Full-Time
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Compensation
DOE
