• applicant must be a current part-time or full-time student (minimum of 6 credit hours) in upcoming semester or in the immediately preceding semester.

the intern will work with applicants and consumers of the state/federal vocational rehabilitation program. This program assists individuals with disabilities in obtaining community based employment. This intern will work closely with a certified vocational rehabilitation counselor in conducting intakes of applicants; determine eligibility for vr; develop employment plans for eligible consumers; and provide overall case management of a caseload. Completion or enrollment in master's degree level courses in vocational rehabilitation counseling or related counseling degree is expected for this internship.

applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply. By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.
