Accounting Manager

Our client, a professional community management organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to work out of their office in Boynton Beach, FL. Experience with Homeowner Associations (HOA) would be highly preferred.

Salary/Hourly Rate: $75k - $80k

The Accounting Manager would be responsible for managing the accounting department. The Accounting Manager also serves as a point of contact for Managers within the organization, analyzes budget information, and works with Managers to create strategies that align with the company vision.

• Perform bank and account reconciliations and analyses.
• Prepare the month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger as needed.
• Audit the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments.
• Explain financial statements to accounting and non-accounting personnel.
• Manage the Accounting department, including training, development, hiring, and performance management.

• Minimum of 3+ years of People Management experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of Full Cycle Accounting experience.

• Minimum of 3+ years of managing an accounting team of 3 or more team members.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Property Management, Food and Beverage, or the Hospitality industry.
• Experience with Homeowner Associations (HOA) would be highly preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration is preferred.
